From Wesley to Meatloaf – Baptising the Imagination, with Nate Morgan Locke

From C. S. Lewis, George MacDonald and Charles Wesley to Toy Story, Harry Potter and Meatloaf, I discuss all things storytelling with Reformed Mythologist Nate Morgan Locke.

What happens when a love of mythology meets theology?

In this long-lost episode originally recorded for season 1, Caleb Woodbridge talks with Nate Morgan Locke, self-described “Reformed Mythologist” and (now former) Creative Director at Speak Life, about how myth, story, and imagination can be “baptised” to see the world through the lens of Jesus as the true myth.

Hear Nate on Invisible Strings in Story at Hay-on-Wye, 24 May 2026

Nate will be speaking on Invisible String in the Stories We Love and Lives We Live in Hay-on-Wye on Sunday 24th May, 5.30pm at Bethesda Church Hay.

It’s during the Hay Festival though not affiliated in any way with that event, but part of an unofficial “Hay Faith Fringe”, if you like:

I’ll also be around at Hay, including on the Invisible String festival tent on the roadside between the festival and the town, as well as attending some festival talks.

Watch out too for more details of the Invisible String book group, coming soon!
